Abstract

In this work, the use of a human-machine interface will be addressed, the implementation of which will facilitate the operation of a test bench used for the detection of failures in a non-invasive methods in rotodynamic systems; highlighting the effectiveness in its handling by specialists and students in the teaching and research of these engineering topics.

The development of the interface consists the integration of a touch screen to interact in a friendly way with the system, where the user will be able to manipulate the speed of the bank's three-phase motor by controlling the frequency and where it is also possible to select the direction of rotation, and interrupt its operation in case of emergency. All this while analyzing the data collected by the sensors through a data acquisition system.

The incorporation of an HMI to the test bench cover the need to apply technological developments and generate highly specialized human resources in this area of engineering, allowing students to have a greater approach to industrial-grade equipment and research.
